LA CHAPE XXS® DUAL TECH

LA CHAPE XXS® DUAL TECH is a lightweight, fibre-reinforced, cement-based premixed screed, designed for the construction of low-thickness screeds in new-build and renovation projects.

The new Dual Tech formulation makes it possible to obtain two different application methods with a single product: traditional or fluid, simply by adjusting the amount of water during mixing. This allows the product to be adapted directly on site to the requirements of the substrate, the installation method and the specific project.

Composed of cement binder, lightweight aggregates, fibres and expanded polystyrene beads with controlled particle size, coated with the E.I.A. additive, LA CHAPE XXS® DUAL TECH enables the creation of lightweight, stable and resistant screeds, with a bulk density of approximately 1,200 kg/m³ and a weight reduction of up to 50% compared to a traditional screed.

Depending on the chosen consistency, the product can be levelled with a screed bar or applied in fluid mode, while maintaining good cohesion, a regular finish and excellent ease of handling on site. The new formulation promotes surface flatness and, under standard conditions, allows ceramic tiles to be laid directly after 24 hours, without the need for smoothing.

LA CHAPE XXS® DUAL TECH is suitable for the construction of bonded or unbonded screeds, for levelling height differences, creating slopes, thermal-insulating underlayers and, more generally, for all applications requiring lightness, reduced thickness, good mechanical performance and fast execution.
