ARIETE 825 CE

PRE-MIXED, CE CERTIFIED, LIGHTWEIGHT AND THERMAL INSULATING SCREED. 825 kg/m3

ARIETE 825 CE is a pre-mixed, CE-marked lightweight thermal insulating screed made of special hydraulic binders, selected aggregates and virgin EPS beads (Ø 2 mm) coated with the E.I.A. additive. At 825 kg/m³ it is more than twice as light as a sand-cement screed, cutting the load on the structure.

With C5-F1 strength it works as a single-layer screed: floor coverings are glued directly onto it, saving thickness and a whole working stage. Ceramic, stoneware and clinker can be laid after approx. 6 days, floating parquet after approx. 12 days (5 cm, +20 °C, 50% RH).

It also insulates: λD 0.176 W/mK and an impact sound improvement of ΔLw 19 dB when combined with DBRED FONOTECH 5.

Compressive strength: 5.0 N/mm² (C5); flexural strength: 1.0 N/mm² (F1) – UNI EN 13813.
Thermal conductivity λD: 0.176 W/mK (UNI EN 12667).
Impact sound improvement ΔLw: 19 dB (UNI EN 12354-2; calculated with 5 cm ARIETE 825 CE + DBRED FONOTECH 5).
Water vapour resistance μ: 14.0; specific heat: 1.0 kJ/kgK; rot-proof.
Reaction to fire: A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1).
Consumption: approx. 0.22 bags/m² per cm of thickness; mixing water 7-8 L per bag.
Minimum thickness on absorbent substrates: 5 cm.
45 L bags; pallet of 40 bags (≈ 1.8 m³).

PACKAGING

Single-layer lightweight insulating screed for glued floor coverings: ceramic, stoneware, clinker, terracotta, parquet. Not suitable for direct laying of resilient coverings.
Glued parquet: smoothing with KRONOS AUTOLIV (min. 5 mm) is mandatory.
Lightweight insulating levelling subfloor, with or without falls.
Lightening and filling castings.
Roof insulation with direct laying of waterproofing membranes or solvent-free liquid sheaths.
Levels set with Piano Zero profiles; mixing by drill, cement mixer or Turbomalt-type mixer; pumping with Politerm® Machine, Isolcap Machine, plastering machine, truck mixer or Turbosol-type pump.
