ISOLCAP XX 500

PRE-MIXED, FIBRE-REINFORCED, LIGHTWEIGHT AND THERMAL INSULATING SUBFLOOR. 500 kg/m3

ISOLCAP XX 500 is the fibre-reinforced lightweight pre-mixed subfloor for projects that need more strength without giving up insulation. At 500 kg/m3 and with polypropylene fibres it reaches 2.24 N/mm2 in compression and a compact, cohesive layer, ideal as a single-layer screed under glued floors and where loads are higher.

Made with EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive, selected aggregates and fibres, it keeps a thermal conductivity of λD 0.104 W/mK. It does not settle, does not shrink and does not crack.

At 5 cm thickness ceramic tiles can be laid after about 5 days and floating parquet after about 10 days; after 28 days the residual moisture is below 2%, which makes it suitable for timber-frame buildings too.

It is mixed with a drill and whisk, a cement mixer or a mixer, and pumped to the floor with POLITERM® MACHINE, ISOLCAP MACHINE, a properly fitted plastering machine or a truck mixer and concrete pump. With DBRED FONOTECH 5 it contributes to impact sound reduction (ΔLw 17 dB). Reaction to fire A2-s1,d0.

NOTE
  • Zero hygrometric shrinkage
  • Zero seepage
  • Dimensionally stable
  • Ultra-low residual moisture
  • No cracking
  • RAL certified
  • High mechanical strength and excellent cohesion of the layer

PACKAGING
  • Single-layer lightweight screeds for floor coverings laid with adhesive (ceramic, porcelain stoneware, clinker, terracotta, parquet). For glued parquet, a KRONOS AUTOLIV skim coat (min. 5 mm) is mandatory.
  • Lightweight thermal insulating subfloors, with or without falls.
  • Lightening and filling layers.
  • Roof insulation (pitched or flat), suitable for direct laying of waterproofing membranes or solvent-free liquid membranes.
  • Not suitable for direct laying of resilient floor coverings.
