ARIETE 250 F®

PRE-MIXED, LIGHTWEIGHT AND THERMAL INSULATING SUBFLOOR. 250 kg/m3

ARIETE 250 F® is a pre-mixed, lightweight thermal insulating subfloor made of selected binders and virgin EPS beads (Ø 2 mm) coated with the E.I.A. additive. It fills and levels the floor build-up over pipes and services, insulating the slab while keeping the load on the structure low.

Only water is added on site: the beads mix and pump evenly, the subfloor does not shrink over time and it reaches a residual moisture below 2% – an ideal base for radiant floor heating and for timber structures, where excess water must be avoided.

It is also used to insulate pitched and flat roofs, with or without falls, and takes prefabricated waterproofing membranes or solvent-free liquid sheaths directly.

Thermal conductivity λD: 0.065 W/mK (UNI EN 12667).
Compressive strength: 0.83 N/mm² (UNI 6132); flexural strength: 0.46 N/mm² (UNI EN 13892-2).
Impact sound improvement ΔLw: 14 dB (UNI EN 12354-2; laboratory value with 5 cm ARIETE 250 F® + 5 cm screed).
Water vapour resistance μ: 6.9; specific heat: 1.0 kJ/kgK; rot-proof.
Residual moisture after 28 days: < 2% by volume.
Reaction to fire: A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1).
Mixing water: 7-8 L per bag; minimum thickness on absorbent substrates: 5 cm.
70 L bags; pallet of 44 bags; 13-14 bags per m³ (≈ 3.1-3.4 m³ per pallet).

Lightening and filling castings.
Thermal insulation of pitched and flat roofs, with direct laying of waterproofing membranes or solvent-free liquid sheaths.
Mixing with drill, cement mixer or horizontal mixer; pumping with Politerm® Machine, Isolcap Machine, plastering machine, truck mixer and concrete pump or screed pump.
