POLITERM® R

SUPERLIGHT THERMAL INSULATING REGRANULATED AGGREGATE WITH ADDITIVES

POLITERM® R is the ultra-lightweight aggregate of the EDILTECO GREEN line for lightweight thermal insulating subfloors that reuse material: it is made of regranulated EPS beads. Same performance as a POLITERM® subfloor, with a lower environmental impact.

The beads, coated with E.I.A. additive, mix perfectly with cement and water, do not float and spread evenly. Densities from 150 to 1800 kg/m³, with λD from 0.049 W/mK and strengths up to 25 N/mm².

It needs very little mixing water and dries quickly (about 1 day per cm). It is mixed in a cement mixer or mixer and pumped with POLITERM® MACHINE, ISOLCAP MACHINE or screed pumps; it can also be mixed and pumped with a truck mixer. Reaction to fire A2-s1,d0. Also available as POLITERM® R Ready Mix, specifically for concrete batching plants.

Reaction to fire A2-s1,d0; rot-proof.
Cement: Portland 32.5 CEM I or CEM II limestone. Application +5 to +35 °C (liquid antifreeze admixture allowed below +5 °C).
Minimum thickness on absorbent substrates 5 cm.
Yield: 2 bags of 420 L or 5 bags of 170 L per 1 m³ (up to 350 kg/m³).

Subfloors on ground and pilotis floors, between floors, on roofs and on timber floors.
Insulation of non-walkable attics.
Vault infill, even at very high thicknesses.
Fill beneath trafficable asphalt pavements.
Subfloors for industrial flooring.
