GECO LIME scratch

NATURAL HYDRAULIC LIME-BASED BONDING MORTAR

GECO LIME scratch is the bonding mortar (scratch coat) of the GECO line, based on NHL 5 natural hydraulic lime and classified as a rehabilitation mortar (EN 998-1 R). It creates a rough, breathable base layer that anchors the dehumidifying plaster to damp and historic walls.

It is applied with a trowel, without smoothing, at 1-5 mm, leaving a textured surface that improves the adhesion of the following layers. Waterproof and breathable, it is the first line of defence against rising damp and helps slow down salt efflorescence.

NOTE
  • Rough base for strong adhesion
  • Waterproof and breathable
  • NHL 5 natural hydraulic lime
