PIANO ZERO SYSTEM
IMPACT NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM FOR DIRECT GLUING OF CERAMIC FLOORING ON DBRED SBR RUBBER UNDERLAY
PIANO ZERO SYSTEM reduces impact noise by gluing ceramic tiles directly onto a DBRED F rubber underlay (F5, F8 or F10), with no floating screed. It adds only a few millimetres, so it is the solution when height is limited: renovations of existing floors and stairs, where impact noise travels through the structure.
The underlay is glued onto cement screeds, self-levelling screeds, anhydrite (with primer), existing ceramic or Edilteco lightweight screeds; the tiles are then laid on a full bed of cement adhesive. The result: ΔLw up to 17 dB and a pull-off strength above 0.4 N/mm².

- Total adhesive 9-11 kg/m² (4-5 kg/m² under the underlay, 5-6 kg/m² on top); flexible cement adhesives.
- Pull-off strength > 0.4 N/mm²; ΔLw up to 17 dB.
- Tile joints ≥ 3 mm; DBRED LF5 strips at walls; decoupled skirting.
- Not suitable on wooden substrates.
