ECAP® GTL

PREFINISHED EPS PANEL, GRAPHITE-ENHANCED, FOR THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEMS

ECAP® GTL is the pre-finished graphite EPS board for external thermal insulation systems. The graphite lowers the thermal conductivity to λD 0.031 W/mK: more insulation for the same thickness, or the same performance with a thinner wall build-up.

It arrives on site with the fibreglass mesh and the first coat of smoothing mortar already applied in the factory, plus punched holes for the anchors: fewer operations, shorter times and consistent quality. The system is completed with ECAP® ADP and the ECAP® finishes.

Thicknesses from 30 to 200 mm, with thermal resistance from 1.00 to 6.65 m²K/W.

NOTE

Board 600 × 1200 mm (0.72 m²) with straight edges; pre-finished with about 3 mm of cement smoothing mortar and alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh 160 g/m² with overlaps; punched holes for anchors.
Graphite EPS class 100: λD 0.031 W/mK (EN 12667); CS(10) ≥ 100 kPa; BS ≥ 200 kPa.
Reaction to fire class E; μ 30-70; specific heat 1450 J/kgK; service temperature limit 80 °C.
Thermal resistance R_D: 1.00 (30 mm) · 1.65 (50) · 2.65 (80) · 3.30 (100) · 4.00 (120) · 5.00 (150) · 6.00 (180) · 6.65 m²K/W (200 mm).
