Thank you for contacting us.
We will respond as soon as possible.
Before May 20th and 29th, 2012, we worked in a beautiful facility surrounded by lush palm trees, marigolds, and lavender flowers. Our resilience.
The earthquake
Then, on the night of May 20th, a strong 5.9-magnitude tremor woke us abruptly at 4:03 am.
From that day, everything changed, and nothing would ever be the same again.
The next day, Monday, May 21st, we all gathered at the company, or rather, outside the company because the damage was significant. That morning, our faces were pale, frightened, and sleepless. Some were lost in thought, others hadn’t even combed their hair, and some still couldn’t grasp what had happened. Our CEO, Paolo Stabellini, who had immediately returned from abroad to handle the emergency, reassured us: we would start again immediately; we wouldn’t stop. And that was exactly what we needed to hear.
In a temporary setup, inside a construction container, we resumed work. On the morning of May 29th, we were all there when, around 9.00 am, another strong quake struck. This one was even more devastating: some were crying, others stood still, lost in thought, while others tried to make phone calls even though all lines were down. Helicopters flew overhead, and we saw clouds of dust from collapsed structures nearby.
Shortly afterward, we set up a tensile structure where we all worked together until an adjacent prefabricated building was completed, allowing us to move there. Subsequently, we relocated to what had been designed as our Research & Development lab, built in record time and reorganized as a work site. In just a few months, we moved three times. We never thought of stopping. The strength of Edilteco was unique and vigorous.
Our resilience
We are proud of ourselves and our tenacity, a value fostered in us by Edilteco’s leadership. It has made us strong and resilient. Today, we are even better. Soon, we will inaugurate our new headquarters with bright, welcoming offices equipped with every comfort. We will have green spaces, terraces, recreational areas, and meeting rooms. There will be a fantastic view of our countryside and even our very own copse! An abandoned green area near the earthquake-devastated buildings will be rehabilitated.
12 years of relentless growth
Over these 12 years, we’ve seen new faces join our historic team. Some colleagues retired, others started their careers with us. Still, others joined the team through the 'Rediscovered Talent' project promoted by the Futuro Association, aimed at reintegrating people over 45 into the workforce. Over these years, shared experiences have deeply united us. We work towards a common goal, enjoy ourselves, and are happy. We are grateful to Edilteco for its constant determination, which has become our strength. Together, we move towards the same goal.
Since 2012, we have tirelessly worked to improve and innovate. We have never stopped studying and researching new solutions, and this constant commitment has led us to extraordinary achievements. During this period, we have significantly grown, expanding through major acquisitions and strategic partnerships that have made us even stronger and more competitive in the market.
Here are some of our key achievements:
