REGUPOL comfort 12

UNDERLAY, IN ROLLS, FOR IMPACT SOUND INSULATION

REGUPOL comfort 12 is a 12 mm impact sound underlay in PUR-bonded elastomers with a dimpled underside, supplied in rolls and tested by REGUPOL on concrete, timber-frame and CLT floors. On a 140 mm concrete slab it reduces impact noise by ΔLw 29 dB under a 60 mm cement screed and by ΔLw 28 dB under a 40 mm RenoScreed®; on timber and CLT floors it is laid over the REGUPOL comfort S1 levelling fill.

Its thermal resistance is low (R 0.133 m²K/W), so it is suitable for underfloor heating; VOC emissions A+. Rolls 9,300 × 1,150 mm for residential and commercial buildings, hotels, refurbished apartments and new builds, with imposed loads up to 5 kN/m².

CLT floor, 160 mm (reference floor Ln,w 86 dB, Rw 39 dB): with 100 mm REGUPOL comfort S1 and 45 mm cement screed Ln,w 50 dB, Rw 70 dB; with 22 mm OSB instead of the screed Ln,w 46 dB, Rw 70 dB.
Timber-frame floor, 263 mm C1 (reference floor Ln,w 72 dB, Rw 49 dB): with 40 mm REGUPOL comfort S1 and 50 mm cement screed Ln,w 47 dB, Rw 69 dB; adding a suspended ceiling on REGUFOAM hangers Ln,w 30 dB, Rw 81 dB. Dynamic stiffness s't ≤ 10 MN/m³; compressibility c ≤ 2 mm; maximum imposed load 5 kN/m².
