SONOPHONE®
PREMIXED PLASTER WITH HIGH ACOUSTIC ABSORPTION
SONOPHONE® is a pre-mixed sound-absorbing plaster sprayed on interior surfaces to reduce reverberation. It leaves a continuous, white surface and needs only water on site, pumped and applied with standard plastering machines.
With 25 mm fully bonded it reaches NRC 0.75; with 50 mm, or 25 mm semi-bonded, αw 0.85 (class B). It is A1 non-combustible, with flame and smoke spread 0 (ASTM E84) and a light reflectance of 86 (smooth) or 83 (sprayed) – it also brightens the room.
It is applied on plasterboard, concrete and steel, in new buildings and renovations: convention centres, schools, canteens, religious buildings and any room where speech must stay intelligible.

- Reaction to fire A1; flame and smoke spread 0 (ASTM E84); light reflectance 86 smooth / 83 sprayed (ASTM C523).
- Thickness from 13 mm (single coat up to 13 mm, further coats once set); max 25 mm on plasterboard.
- Mixing water 20.5-24.5 L per bag; wet density 610-720 kg/m³.
- Consumption 4-4.5 kg/m² per cm, depending on surface irregularity.
- Minimum air and surface temperature +4 °C during and for 24 h after application; new concrete cured at least 60 days.
- 20.5 kg bags; pallet of 24 bags; colour white.
PACKAGING
- Acoustic correction of convention centres, schools, canteens, religious buildings and halls.
- On plasterboard (with waterproof primer), concrete, galvanized and painted steel.
