CINDERELLA NIGHT: FERRALUGLIO IN SUPPORT OF ASEOP – PEDIATRIC HEMATOLOGY AND ONCOLOGY SUPPORT ASSOCIATION OF MODENA

Not all fairy tales begin with “Once upon a time,” and not all follow the storyline we had imagined. Life sometimes surprises us with chapters that are difficult to write — especially when they involve children. Children who should be the carefree heroes of every happy-ending story, and yet find themselves walking paths filled with obstacles, strength, and courage.
Paths no parent should ever have to narrate. Stories no fairy tale had ever written.

At Edilteco, these stories deeply move us. Because we know that a child’s health is a precious gift, never to be taken for granted. That’s why we joined Cinderella Night, a magical charity event organized by the Rotary Club Castelvetro di Modena – Terra dei Rangoni in support of ASEOP – Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Support Association of Modena, with joy and heartfelt commitment.

It was a truly enchanted evening — just like the royal ball where Cinderella dared, for the first time, to believe in a different kind of future. With that same dreamy spirit, we dressed in our finest gowns and made our way to the Golf and Country Club in Colombaro. Beneath the moonlight, in front of a storybook-like castle, we stepped down from our “carriages” and became part of a modern-day fairy tale, full of meaning and emotion.

Yes — there was even a Prince Charming! And, true to the tale, a few playful disagreements between would-be princesses added to the charm of the night. But above all, between dances and laughter, we never lost sight of the real purpose of the evening: supporting ASEOP, and through it, every child and every family facing the most difficult of battles.

As the night came to an end, the castle lights dimmed and the carriages returned home. But the magic didn’t fade. It lives on — in the smiles we shared, in the solidarity we chose, and in the promise that together, we can truly make a difference.

We warmly thank the Rotary Club Castelvetro di Modena – Terra dei Rangoni for organizing such a beautiful evening, and ASEOP for the tireless work they carry out every single day. We are proud to have taken part in an event that brought together solidarity, commitment, and humanity.

ASEOP: Supporting Children and Their Families, Every Step of the Way

Founded in Modena in 1988, ASEOP (Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Support Association) is dedicated to helping children affected by leukemia and cancer, while also offering crucial support to their families.

The association provides free accommodation at Casa di Fausta, a welcoming residence located near the hospital, and offers psychological, educational, and bureaucratic assistance throughout treatment. ASEOP is also committed to improving pediatric oncology departments, supporting research, and running awareness campaigns across the community.

It’s a vital presence for those facing the most challenging journeys — far from home, but never far from hope.
