LIGHT-GAUGE STEEL BUILDINGS

In several residential and commercial buildings in the Dominican Republic, built with a light-gauge steel frame and infill boards, the wall cavities were filled with POLITERM® WALL R, pre-additivated regranulated EPS beads. The solution gives continuous thermal and acoustic insulation with a negligible weight on the structure, important performance in a tropical climate.
