Insulation of the walls of light-gauge steel villas with POLITERM® WALL R.
For a complex of villas in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, built with a light-gauge steel frame, the wall cavities were filled with POLITERM® WALL R, a pre-additivated superlight regranulated EPS aggregate. The solution gives continuous thermal and acoustic insulation, with no thermal bridges, and contributes to indoor comfort in a hot and humid climate.
