SMARTBLOCK® B.15.300

ULTRA-LIGHT BLOCK FOR MASONRY

SMARTBLOCK® B.15.300 is a solid ultra-light block (300 kg/m³) made of cement and POLITERM® BLU / BLU FEIN virgin EPS beads coated with the E.I.A. additive. It weighs only 4.5 kg, is cut with a simple saw and is laid with MALTA BLOCK 600 thermal mortar: walls go up quickly, with little waste and no thermal bridges at the joints.

At 15 cm thick it is the choice for insulating linings, thermal bridge correction on pillars and beams and walls next to other buildings: the plastered wall reaches U 0.462 W/m²K, a phase shift of 6.5 h and a calculated sound insulation of Rw 42.6 dB. Reaction to fire A2-s1,d0, CE marked to EN 771-3.

Density: 300 kg/m³ ± 10%; block weight: 4.5 kg; compressive strength > 0.40 N/mm² (category II).
Thermal resistance of the block: 1.875 m²K/W; equivalent thermal conductivity 0.08 W/mK.
Plastered wall (15 mm plaster per side): U 0.462 W/m²K; R 2.165 m²K/W; periodic transmittance Yie 0.306 W/m²K; phase shift 6.5 h; attenuation factor 0.662.
Calculated sound insulation: Rw 42.6 dB.
Reaction to fire: Euroclass A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1); μ 12; specific heat 0.33 kcal/kgK.
Wall: 10 blocks/m²; mass 45 kg/m² (excluding plaster).
Pallet: 84 blocks, approx. 382 kg, 1030 × 1030 × 1260 mm.
