REGUPOL vibration 450

VIBRATION ISOLATION MAT

REGUPOL vibration 450 is a vibration isolation and structure-borne sound decoupling material made of rubber fibres and granules – largely recycled from vehicle tyres – bonded with polyurethane. It is designed for permanent static loads up to 0.12 N/mm² (rare short-term peaks up to 0.18 N/mm²) and, depending on load and thickness, reaches natural frequencies as low as 8 Hz. It is used in particular for the isolation of vertical structural elements, laid in a single layer and also available with integrated installation support.

It protects buildings and people from the vibrations of railways, roads, machines and plant, improving comfort and preserving the structure. Selection is straightforward: the type must match the permanent load actually acting on the bearing – REGUPOL vibration 450 is the right choice up to 0.12 N/mm². Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze.

NOTE

Material: polyurethane-bonded rubber fibres and granules.
Forms of delivery: sheets 1000 × 500 mm, thickness 25 and 50 mm (special thicknesses available); customised thicknesses on request.
Maximum static load: 0.120 N/mm²; rare short-term peaks up to 0.180 N/mm².
Static modulus of elasticity: 0.2 - 0.4 N/mm² (based on EN 826); dynamic modulus: 0.45 - 2.70 N/mm² (based on DIN 53513).
Mechanical loss factor: 0.17 (DIN 53513); compression set: 4.1 %.
Fire behaviour: B2 (DIN 4102), E (EN 13501-1).
Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze.

Elastic bearing of buildings and foundations exposed to vibrations from railways, tramways and roads.
